Home Page Guidelines
As taken from
the Assignments
page, your hompage assignment is to:
-- Students
will create a home page and post it to the EGR webserver. On this
page, students will post all future course assignments.
On this homepage,
please include the following:
- A picture
of yourself (at any age, stage, etc). Optional: other pics, such
as pets, friends, etc
- Title of
your page
- Some text
describing yourself
- An email
link to let readers contact you
- A menu (with
buttons or text links) listing all assignments for TCO 290; realizing
that links will be activated as the semester progresses.
- At least
two "favorite" links, and at least two "this is
the worst website I ever saw" links
- A link to
a page describing multimedia or to a page demonstrating what you
feel to be quality multimedia.
- A link back
to our TCO 290 course website.
- A link to
the TCO department website and another link to the School of Engineering
website.
- Footer information
including your name, email, website url, and date last updated.
Be creative,
be imaginative, use color, shapes, lines, pay attention to the principles
of design, etc. This page should be updated throughout the semester
-- almost every week. I will grade it shortly after the initial
site is posted and give you feedback, and then I'll grade it again
at the end of the semester -- and the last grade will count. This
page should evolve as your skills evolve.
