My Faith

A Baptist by birth, a Christian by grace -

At the age of 8 I accepted Jesus as my Lord, although at that time I had only a very limited understanding of what that truly meant. As I have grown older, I am still discovering (daily) what it means to know God and live in a relationship with Him. Professing Jesus as Lord doesn't take courage or great strength; living this each day, however, requires a submission to His Lordship and an acceptance of His grace. I know that Jesus loves me; yet it is by grace that I can receive His love, and it is by grace that I am still learning to understand and accept the fact that He cares for me.

My Life Verse
Galatians 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me." (NAS)

My Church
My faith tradition is Southern Baptist (born & bred!) Currently, my family and I attend Ingleside Baptist Church in north Macon.
