Assembly Process
Four different door types are manufactured at the facility. The type and number of doors are based on a build schedule. The schedule shown below has been generated in the Arena simulation.
Directions for Operating the Schedule:
The screen shown below will pop up at the start of a simulation run. The user can enter a pattern of up to 10 different door types and batch size combinations. Any positive value can be input for the batch size. The drop down arrow in the "number of panels" column is used to choose if the doors in the batch will have 1, 2, 4, or 6 panels. If the user would like to input less than 10 batch size/door type combinations, placing a "-1" in the batch size will terminate the build schedule. For example, in the schedule shown below, the run will terminate after completing Batch 6.
The user also has the option of repeating the schedule by changing the number in the "Number of Times to Run Schedule" box. For Example, in the schedule shown above, the simulation will run from Batch 1 to Batch 6, one time.
