Dr. Jabari P. Cain graduated in 2000 from Florida A&M University in Elementary Education. He then pursued a graduate degree in Educational Technology at the University of Northern Iowa. After being in college for so many years, he decided to enter the workplace as a first grade teacher. He taught for two years in his hometown of Lansing, Michigan at Shabazz Public School Academy and then decided to enroll back into school at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. The reason he chose this major was because of his love for two fields: education and technology. Dr. Cain received his doctoral degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during the semester of fall 2008.
