Love Thy Neighbor Banquet: This event was held on February 15, 2003 at the event room of the Farmer's Market in Macon Georgia. The event included a fashion show by the youth of the church as well as great entertainment and great food prepared by the Progressive Ladies. This event raised a total of $1,300 for the church building fund!

Candy Sales: During the month of January the youth sold candy to church members following services. This event raised a total of $500 for the church building fund.

Upcoming fundraising events: We are working hard to reach our goal of $5000 before the end of the year. Upcoming fundraising events include candy sales, car washes, and yard sales.

As of March 2003, the youth department of St. John Baptist Church has raised a total of $1,800 toward the church building fund!!! That is more than a third of the money that we intend to raise for this year. We have a long road ahead of us but we are accomplishing our goal through prayer and hard work.
