TCO 290 PowerPoint Project Guidelines

This assignment requires a PowerPoint project that contains text, graphics, animations, and sound. This project should also include a menu with navigation links. A flowchart is required as part of this assignment.

We will begin this assignment by flowcharting the pages, their navigational directions, and brief contents.

The presentation should include at least 15 slides, including:

Splash slide
Title slide
Help Slide
Menu slide
Section title slides
Information slides
Summary slides
Test/quiz slides (if desired)

All slides, with the exception of splash, should include navigational elements that allow users to go back/forward or branch to various elements. Navigation should be consistent and can utilize a metaphor. The splash slide should automatically transition into the title slide or navigation can be included to allow the user to advance manually.

At least 5 slides should include animation of some sort, preferably advanced using path animation. Simple slide transitions or screen element entrance/exit will not be sufficient for this assignment (check with instructor if you have questions).

Graphics/photos should be used extensively. Sound should also be used; check with instructor about types of sound and how much to use.

Slide show should be set to start in kiosk mode rather than having the user manually begin it. Slide show should also be linked in home page so that the link itself begins the show within the browser.
