Safari

(link to Kilimanjaro climb)

Louise and I spent three nights at the Grumeti River Lodge, located on a tributary of the Grumeti River in the Serengeti. While at Grumeti, we took a day-long game drive to Seronera to witness the migration of the wildebeest and zebra. The migration occurs every year as over one million animals move from the Masai Mara reserve in Kenya, south through the Serengeti and back to Masai in search of food and water. We also saw many other animals, such as lion, crocodile, hippos, monkeys, impala, gazelles, buffalo, and birds. Louise and I took hundreds of pictures while at Grumeti; here are a few of the best.
