Help with Writing in English 264 Online
In this course you will be graded on your your writing, both in the formal research paper and in the less formal blog entries. Many students feel insecure about their writing skills, or just want some assistance.
Mercer's Academic Resource Center operates a Blackboard-based Online Writing Lab for students in online courses, and provides online tutors with extensive experience in writing. I encourage you to take advantage of this new program. You can email a draqft of your writing to the tutor, and get help via return email, or you can work with a tutor live while she is at the Academic Resource Center. The writing tutor is available Monday through Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. (all times are EDST).
