English 264 Online Class Blogs
You must use our Blackboard course site to create your blog and to read the blog posts of your classmates and me. In previous summers we used public blog sites, such as Blogger and Wordpress, but now Blackboard provides a similar tool set and a more private space for your ideas.
You should write a minimum of 20 blog entries during the course (before 20 June), and write 25 comments on the blogs of others (before 12 July).
On my blog page I will post questions you might discuss on your blogs (although I certainly encourage you to come up with your own). I will also use it to discuss issues that come up in the course. If you have questions about the course, you can post them as comments on my blog.
If you are completely new to blogging, you might find it useful to look at some of the sites, entries and comments from last summer's online class. Be sure to use them only as a reference, though—don't copy their work!
