Tonight in our Webex discussion we will present our PowerPoint presentations for our feasibility reports in this order (reverse alphabetical order):

James Callender

Andrea Blackburn

Kevin Alexander

Just like last week, Each person will have 7-10 minutes for their presentation. I would like each of you to listen carefully and identify something you learned or a question you have after each presentation.

PROPOSAL INTRODUCTIONS

We will also review each introduction as written by each group. Someone from each group should be prepared to display their group's introduction in Webex for discussion by the class.

Here are the two documents we'll use to discuss the Introduction:

PowerPoint Presentation about the Introduction -- it has a lot of text, counter to what I've taught you, but it contains excerpts of an introduction.

Grade sheet for the Introduction -- this is an informal rubric that will help you know if you are writing the Intro correctly.

TECHNICAL APPROACH & OPERATIONS PLAN

We'll also discuss the technical approach and operations plan of the proposal. These are the main two sections of the document and will contain the most information about your project. Here are some documents we will use in this part of the discussion:

Outline for the Technical Approach

PowerPoint Presentation for the Operations Plan (this is only one slide!)

Technical Approach Grade Sheet

Operations Plan Grade Sheet

Again, check out the MERC proposal and the other sample proposal linked below.

MERC Proposal, Spring 2012

Other Sample Proposal

In class Monday night, we'll go into much more detail about these two parts of the Proposal, and we'll begin to talk about the Kickstarter video that will part of the project.

Please be in touch with me if you have questions!
