Assignment Two – Flyer
Choose one of the following tasks:
- Flyer for B.S. degree, Technical Communication Major & Minor
Purpose: Your task is to create a flyer for the undergraduate B.S. degree in Technical Communication. Their website is:

Your goal is to interest freshmen and sophomore students in either the Tech Comm major or minor. The Technical Communication degree is a B.S. degree in the School of Engineering. You can also minor in Tech Comm by taking 15 hours in the program.
- Flyer for B.S. degree, Industrial Management Major
The IDM website is:

Your goal is to interest students in the IDM major. The IDM program is a B.S. degree in the School of Engineering.
You may choose pictures for your flyer from http://gallery.mercer.edu. I will show you in class how to use the appropriate Mercer colors and where to find the official Mercer logos.
Use color and 8.5 X 11 inch paper. You may use either the color or regular printer in the lab, but you will have to use the University's print management system.
Submission Format: Please submit your flyer in a printed form in class and save it in both the InDesign format and a pdf format in your dropbox folder.
Due Dates
Peer Review: Tuesday, February 14
Final: Tuesday, February 21
Flyers will be graded
using the Flyer
Grading Rubric.
