 Welcome
to my website - and congratulations on taking the first step
toward starting therapy. My name is Chris, and I am a licensed
marriage and family therapist in the state of Georgia. I also
hold certifications as a Gay Affirmative Psychotherapist, as a
Family Life Educator, as well as being an Approved Supervisor
and clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and
Family Therapy. I specialize in couple and individual therapy,
focusing on issues of sex and sexuality - including issues of
gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender issues, sexual behavior
and concerns (difficulties, fetishism, etc). However, I am fully
trained and competent to treat a wide array of presenting
concerns including marital/couple concerns, depression, anxiety,
adjustment to life's problems, personality concerns, stress,
life-course decisions, etc. Each person is unique, so if you
would like to see if I can help with your difficulty, please do
not hesitate to contact me. As an approved supervisor, I also provide supervision for Associate Marriage and Family Therapists who are working toward full licensure in the state of Georiga, and supervisors who are working toward becoming an approved supervisor and need supervision of supervision. Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, School of
Medicine, Mercer University - Atlanta, I work within the group
practice of Mercer Medicine. The facility that I provide
services at is the
Mercer Family Therapy Center,
of which I am also the Clinic Director. One of the advantages of
working with Mercer Medicine, is that I am able to accept
several types of insurance, as well as private pay (should you
wish).
