Profile:

J.D., Woodrow Wilson College of Law, 1983

B.B.A., Mercer University, 1980

Adjunct Assistant Professor of Business Law since 1989

I have practiced law full time since 1983 in various areas of law including commercial, criminal, domestic, contracts, real property, personal property, Wills, estates, torts, personal injury and workers compensation. I currently handle only injury cases.

I am also a registered arbitrator and mediator.

I teach Business Law 346 and 347. These courses are introductions to the law as it applies to business. I teach not only the theory, but also its practical application.

Some of my students’ interests in the law have been stimulated by these courses, to the extent that they have gone on to law school. A few have even handled cases against me.

I teach students how to help themselves. As a teacher, I empower others. As an attorney, I help others. For instance, if you have a flat tire, as a lawyer, I would change the tire for you. As a teacher, I would show you how to change the tire. The next time, when no one is around, you could then do it yourself.
