Each science fair research eDiary will be hosted within the secure BlackBoard Science Fair site.

Twice every week, on Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday, students must enter a short summary of what has happened during their science fair planning and experiments. (This will begin in January and end in early March.)

eMentors are expected respond to eDiary entries each week between Thursday and Sunday. Information posted at the eDiary by students shall include experimental setup and procedures, and collection of data— what they have completed, what they need to do next and what questions they have. Note: Student teams are enthusiastic that their assigned eMentors may be scientists, teachers, professors, or college students from the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

eDiary entries in BOLD indicate mentees need help from their eMentor. This does not mean that eMentors will answer the question directly; he/she may direct mentees to a print or Web resource that can aid mentees to discover answers to challenging questions.
