During the Fall 2014 semester, I am teaching MAT 191 (Calculus I) and MAT 350 (College Geometry). In recent semesters I have also taught STA 126 (Introduction to Statistics), MAT 293 (Multivariable Calculus), MAT 330 (Differential Equations) and UNV 101 (The First-Year Student Experience). I am beginning my third year of teaching at Mercer.

My main scholarly interests are geometry, analysis, and the teaching and learning of college mathematics. I wrote my dissertation on the geometry of sets of positive reach, and I received my Ph. D. in August 2012 from the University of Georgia.

I love helping students during office hours! My office hour schedule for Fall 2014 is the following:
M 3:00-4:00, W 3:00-4:00, R 4:30-5:30 (in Ware 218), other times by appointment
ARCTuesday 12:00-1:00 (in the ARC classroom)

I enjoy cooking, reading, making jewelry, working out, and drinking coffee. I am hooked on Pinterest and campy sci-fi TV.
