Note: The SSE courses are graduate courses that may be counted toward
Masters degrees. Graduates with Masters degrees may be expected to
show initiative and creativity in software engineering.
The regularly expected grade for graduate courses is "B".
A deliverable that covers all of the required material well should
receive a B. Deliverables that demonstrate a level of initiative and
creativity beyond the ordinary expectations for the Masters level may receive a grade of
A.
A lot of projects in the SSE program are open-ended and substantially
student-defined. It is up to you to make the most of the opportunities
presented by these projects.
The amount of effort and accomplishment expected are proportional to the
number of members of the team. A two person team should accomplish twice as
much as a solo performer, etc.
