Elaine Churchwell Grier is an Assistant Professor of Adult nursing. She holds advanced national certification in adult critical care from The American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and has expertise in oncology nursing. Professor Grier has great interest in the experiences of death, dying, and bereavement and she teaches these concepts throughout the curriculum. She has served as a national leader in The Compassionate Friends support group for bereaved parents and frequently facilitates support groups for those who are grieving. Professor Grier has done numerous professional presentations locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally and has been co-author of three published research articles. |
