Welcome to a day in the life of a librarian.  I was born and raised in good ole' Kentucky, right in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains.  Kentucky is not only famous for the Derby, but also some interesting food dishes as well...or at least I'm told.  Have you ever heard of killed lettuce?  I didn't think so, but that was one of my favorite foods as a child.

After living in Kentucky most of my life, I decided in 2002 to move to Texas where I took my first librarian position for Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas.  Although I enjoyed living in the Lonestar state, I really missed my family and the humidity.  So, in May of 2005 my tired worn feet landed here in Macon, Georgia, and I couldn't be happier.  This is a beautiful town with a lot of warm southern personalities.

I hope you will come to love Macon and Mercer as much as I do.  I wish you academic success and happiness as you journey on this new path in life.  I look forward to meeting you and helping you with all of your research needs!

Sincerely,

Consuela Cline
