I have begun to dabble in a few "right brain" pursuits. I wrote a full-length screenplay titled "Ready or Not" back in 2008, and even marshalled the courage to submit it to an international screenwriting competition (the PAGE Awards). Needless to say, I didn't win; but I received valuable feedback from the judges. I have a new appreciation for the hard work, commitment, and creativity required to write a screenplay, that's for sure. Complain about the last movie you just saw all you want -- I tell you what...most of the writers who sell scripts are TALENTED.
I have also taken some classes in voiceover and have learned, unequivocally, that there's a great deal of training and skill between having an interesting voice (like Morgan Freeman or Benedict Cumberbatch) and being able to sell it. I have a long, long way to go, but have enjoyed the ride so far. In fact, here's my demo.
