Welcome to the laboratory of Dr. David P. Aiello in the Department of Biology at Mercer University. We use molecular and genetic approaches to better understand processes shared by all eukarytoic cells. Our primary research focus uses the yeast experimental system to investigate mechanisms of gene regulation and transcription by RNA polymerase II.
